Our goal for 2010 is to have a nice LCD flat screen TV in everyone's bedroom so each of us can watch whatever we want whenever we want so we don't disturb anyone else. Both my husband and I work at home and sometimes our work drags into the evening, and we don't want to have to put limits on the kids' TV watching because some of it is actually really good for them, like their Wii games and other video games that help build their eye-hand coordination, and in the case of Wii games, teach them some important skills and techniques for the games that are based on real activities, like golf and tennis.The LCD flat screen TVs are just wonderful and we're making sure that each of them has a built in DVD player, too. When the DVD players are built in, it's one less thing to plug into the wall and dust. There are some incredible documentary DVDs out there and our kids love all things science. We go to the library several times a month and they get several sets to share among us. Up until now we have watched them together and it's been a chore to jockey our schedules, but when we get LCD flat screen TVs for each of us, schedules will be no problem.
The great thing about the LCD flat screen TVs is how portable they are. They are so lightweight. The one shown here is our first purchase for a bedroom, and it only weighs 19 pounds, so it's easy to pick up and move around. This is a Coby 22" LCD HDTV/DVD Combination and it's going into our daughter's room because she drew the longest straw. In two months, we'll be able to buy our son one, and I hope that the same model is available. This one looks just perfect for a medium sized LCD flat screen TV and this one has so many features I haven't seen on other HDTVs. It has slots so we can take memory sticks or cards right from the camera and view the pictures on the TV. I think it will even play .AVI files, too, because it takes USB flash drives, too.
The unit is a good value, especially when it supports all DVDs and CDs. It comes with a port for headsets, too, and add on speakers down the road. If someone were to ask me what I like most about the latest electronic photo gadgets I guess would probably say it is the fact that they can be used to capture our most precious memories for the sake of posterity. My answer would be an honest one. Yet there is also something else that I really like about modern electronic photo gadgets. I like them because they are technologically advanced enough that we can delete or edit out what we do not wish to share before anybody else sees. I can delete bad pictures with a digital camera. I can delete embarrassing scenes recorded with a digital video recorder. Hence I do not have to keep the picture my step-grandson took of me when I had no makeup on and my hair was a frightful mess. Electronic photo gadgets allow me to pick and choose what I show others so I can always put my best side forward. Because I can be quite shy and self-conscious having the ability to edit and delete pictures and scenes that make me cringe is a bonus. 
We have three LCD flat screen TVs at home and they all come in handy. We find having more than one LCD flat screen TV comes in useful because there are five of us living at home and we do not always want to watch the same movies or shows. We also appreciate having more than one LCD flat screen TV because there are nights when my husband watches a typically male genre movie with our grandsons and I watch a girlie movie with my step-granddaughter Alisha. For example the boys all watched an action movie together on the LCD flat screen TV we have in the living room upstairs on Saturday evening. Meanwhile my step-granddaughter Alisha and I watched 
Like most people my husband and I use our digital video recorder to get footage of significant events. This would include things like birthdays, New Year, family vacations, school concerts, graduations and recitals as well as special occasions such as weddings. However some of the footage we record with our digital camera seems very plain and simple at first glance. It’s often the kind of thing that occurs daily until it simply doesn’t happen anymore and you find yourself missing it. For example yesterday I got our digital video recorder out because my step-grandkids were laughing and having fun with my two dogs on the trampoline we have in our back yard. This is something that both the dogs and the kids enjoy. The thing is that dogs only have short lives and children do not stay young forever. Therefore in years to come the dogs and kids won’t play on the trampoline outside. At least it won’t be the same kids or the same dogs. To see them play on the trampoline I will have to watch the footage I recorder with our digital video recorder. Recording simple but precious memories is what I think owning a digital video recorder is all about. 
My older brother David is turning thirty two years old tonight, and I will be there using my digital camera to capture the surprise that spreads across his face when he opens the front door upon returning home from work; as we have a really great surprise party planned for him. I have a few great digital picture frames at home, and this is just one of the many reasons why I own digital picture frame: to capture and preserve and share photo memories of special occasions like the party that is taking place tonight. I plan on taking as many photos of my brother, friends and family as possible, so that I can have ample amounts of great photos to add to my digital picture frames that are situated around my house. I used to only own one digital picture frame, but over the past year I have purchased a few others online for a great deal. The new digital picture frame that I have even has a touch screen and a remote control, and can play videos and sounds! 
I think it makes things nice when you have all the electronic photo gadgets you need. My husband and I have a digital video recorder, a good quality digital camera and a couple of digital picture frames to store family photographs in. Our electronic photo gadgets give us a way of preserving special memories and recording our lives. I actually think that electronic photo gadgets are far more important that most of us realize. When I get old I imagine I will want to look over photographs and video footage we recorded with our electronic photo gadgets and reminisce. I also think that every moment is a precious one. We are truly blessed to have electronic photo gadgets. In the past we had to rely on our memories of events. I do not think that the human memory is one hundred percent reliable but unedited video footage and digital photographs are. So when I am old and gray I will be able to look back and see my life as it really was when I was younger and I think that makes me very fortunate. 
I love the new digital video recorders, especially compared to the old style camcorders. I used to use the old ones that took the VHS tapes or the little tapes that had to be transferred to VHS. They were heavy, hard to carry, impossible to hold for more than a few minutes. My arm would fall asleep, my back would hurt and my neck would be screaming after only ten or fifteen minutes. With the new digital video recorders, I can hold one all day and never get tired. They are so lightweight, weighing less than two pounds, so it's easy to hold for longer periods. I love that the new ones don't take tapes, they take memory cards instead. Memory cards are so much more affordable than those little tapes were. It is so much easier to download the video to my computer than it was to transfer those little tapes to the VHS using the VCR, also. I love the digital video recorders that are available now, for their portability and ease of use.]]>
For football fans, both of NCAA college football and of the NFL pro football leagues, all around the world and in the US: you know that the months of December and January are the most exciting, especially if you have LCD flat screen TVs in your home. These months mark the finales in football, where all of the college bowl games occur and a national champion is crowned, and where all of the NFL playoffs take place—leading up to the Super Bowl come early February. If you have LCD flat screen TVs in your home like I do, then like me, you will be enjoying the best experience when watching your favorite teams battle it out to go all the way to the top. I used to not own any LCD flat screen TVs, and I would find myself spending too much money at local sports bars to watch the sports I so loved. If I added up all that wasted money, I could have easily purchased three LCD flat screen TVs in one year alone! Think about it: it just makes sense to have one in your home if you are a sports nut! 
I hope that your Xmas and New Year’s Eve treated you all well, mine was just great! Over Xmas I got so many awesome pictures for the digital picture frame that sits on my mantle that the thing is just packed to the brim. I threw a huge New Year’s Eve party as well, where we took at least a hundred great photos, all which were added to my digital picture frame after I had a chance to edit them. Now, when friends or family come over and I want to share the pictures of this past holiday season, it is rather easily done. I simply take the remote control for my digital picture frame, and start scanning through different photos. The new digital picture frame that I bought online even offers some video capabilities and sound. So once I get a chance to upload some holiday videos that we shot of the whole family, you can bet that those will be new additions to my digital picture frame. The best part about the digital picture frames of today, at least in my mind, is that they are so much easier to use than paper photo albums, and they can store videos and sounds; awesome!
