Last summer when it was sizzling hot here in Phoenix, I loaded our digital picture frame up with pictures of blizzards, dark rainy skies, and people shoveling snow so I could remind myself that there are things that are worse than 100+ days for months on end. It worked. I'd so rather be too hot than too cold, and the luxury of knowing I can walk out in the backyard 365 days a year without freezing to death helps me get through the heat of the summer.
